Got hold of the Orange Box last night. So i'll be portaling it up tonight with a delicate splash of Team Fortress 2 and an Episode 2 on the side.
Tried Tiger Woods 08 last night coz Simpeeer was pestering me to play it. Well i say tried, i played 2 holes then turned it off and continued Conan. You really can't play golf with a little thumbstick. Doesn't feel right at all. Skate; yes. Golf; hell no.
It was great on the PC as it really felt intuitive swinging the club with the mouse. But on a joypad there's definitely something missing.
Tiger Woods + Xbox 360 = Bit shit really.
Simp seems to like it though. I think it's coz he's so shit on Skate that he's trying to compensate...

Is Conan any good, it fits right into my gaming interests, having enjoyed Diablo and other similar games.
If you like hack and slash games then it'd be right up your street. It's more similar to God of War in gameplay but not as epic-y.
Still enjoyable though. Just some of the levels feel very samey. On the plus side there's a ton of moves to do and the points you get from killing people go towards buying new moves so you can master them all in the pace you like.
Skate is still the best game out at the moment with Bioshock coming in a close second.
