Evenings don't get much better than this

Complete Stranglehold. Have Shreddies for tea coz the missus is away and i hate cooking. Then sit back and watch Hard Boiled with something to smoke in my left hand (no, not a cock) and something to drink in my right hand. Afterwards go into a porn vortex for an hour or so then bed.

Ah, i won't see those kind of nights again in a hurry.

Still not as good as Max Payne

Nearly completed Stranglehold, just one more level to go and i'm actually trying the get the achievements this time. I'm building up an impressive array too.

Although about 30% are rubbish i'll never do like 'Host 10 multiplayer games in the museum'.

Sorry, don't do online any more. It just reminds me how rubbish i actually am when i play on anything but easy.

well i lasted half an hour

And i thought that was good for me. Stranglehold is a good fun game but i still stand by my original thoughts that it's very similar to Max Payne but without the film noir storyline.

Sod it, we can still do the stoned review for the skate demo, who knows, the main game might be out by the 14th, but if it's not the demo is really good fun, I would urge you to download it if you haven't done so already, breathes a new life into the skating game and it doesn't seem as goddamn hard as tony hawks.

must... resist... temptation

Got stranglehold last night, it's completely region free so that's fun times to be had by all.

Although i've promised a mate i wouldn't play it until he comes down next weekend, then we can do one of our legendary stoned reviews of it (We get mashed and talk shit about the game, it's entertaining at the time). So it looks like i'm stuck playing Resident Evil 4 on the Wii for the time being.

Tell you the truth Res Evil 4 is most enjoyable, a lot better with a pointer to aim but it does make your right wrist ache after a while. But i guess that's the price you pay for doing something enjoyable...

Want Skate, need Skate, better than Tony Hawks. Not coming out until the 14th.

Bioshock Demo - dogs bollocks

Downloaded the demo of Bioshock last night. It's sodding dark but v.cool. Liked the little effects like the back of the plane sinking slowly into the sea.

Although it's bloody hard to zap those flying gunner things with an analogue stick. Can't decide if it would be better on the 360 or PC. With the 360 the games will just work, the gfx are perfect and you get those oh so important achievements. But with the PC you've got the holy grail of controllers: The Mouse. You can't get anything better than a mouse for precision aiming on fps.

Also got stranglehold demo the other day. It's pretty good but you must have noticed it's very Max Payne-y. Lots a slo-mo stuff. Seems fairly easy too but maybe that's just the demo. I'm not that impressed with the stand-offs, it's a great idea, it's just too easy to do.

Bioshock comes out end of next week in the EU so i think it's certainly a trip to the newsgroups for that one.

Skate is coming out soon, if you haven't already seen it, have a look at skate.ea.com and specifically at the flickit controls. It's already giving me a semi and i swear, the first time i saw it, i did a little wee i was that excited. Could never play tony hawks on the joypad, always played it on the keyboard so i need something i can start at the beginning again. This game looks so frigging mental.

Mate in my band had the fatal 3 lights of death last night. Hope i don't get any of that shit as i've already had the drive patched so my warranty died 2 days after buying the thing.

p.s. Trauma Centre is worth getting as well if you have a Wii, it's lots of fun and even teaches you crap you never wanted to know, like what the hell a Polyp is
